The Love and Racecars Contest
There's something about fast cars that makes for exciting stories, and we'd like to see yours!
Post a short scene. Include a fast car and a love-angle. The three best posts will win.
For example, your MC is a grizzled detective investigating the suspicious death of a famous racer. The primary suspect is the widow, who had previously described the marriage as loveless. As the investigation unfolds, perhaps the true murderer turns up in an unexpected place?
You could tackle it as a college romance, where the FMC has pulled up to the school in a fancy new muscle car. Is her prospective lover up to this challenge?
While this contest targets the thriller genre and/or the romance genre, it is open to other creative approaches.
